Canoe/Kayak Rentals - Blacksburg

Trip 1
Claytor Dam to Bisset Park (Dudley’s Landing ramp). 5 miles on flat to slow-moving water. Great for large groups with first-timers.

Trip 2
Bisset Park to 114 Bridge. 5 miles on flat water with some faster sections and a class I rapid at the end. If you are looking for a lazy river experience with you group this is it.

Trip 3
Claytor Dam to 114 Bridge. 10 miles. Trips 1 and 2 combined. A great all-day trip for the whole crew.

Trip 4
114 Bridge to Whitethorn. 7 miles. One class II rapid.

Trip 5
Whitethorn to Eggleston. 10 miles. This is a very good fishing trip. One class II-III and two class II rapids in this sections.
Canoe/Kayak Rentals - Pembroke Area

Trip 6
Eggleston to Pembroke. 7 miles. Very Scenic with 4 rapids (class II). Perfect for beginners with little to no paddling experience.

Trip 6X
McCoy to Pembroke. 10 miles. Lengthen your time on the water by an hour or more by starting 3 miles up river from the traditional Trip 6 put in location. Great if looking for at least a half day adventure.

Trip 7
Pembroke to Bluff City. 10 miles. Includes class II and class III rapids. Ideal for folks with some previous paddling experiences.
